I'm just really curious, what's your guy's favorite Theme/Amusement Park?

My favorite Theme park is Disney World, my favorite Amusement Park is Kings Island and Cedar Point (both in Ohio btw, but at the south and north ends of Ohio).

I can't wait to ride Kings Island new ride the Banshee... Have you guys been to the Ohio area? (Like Cinci for KI and Sandusky for CP?)

I've been to Six Flags St. Louis! I wish I could go to more Six Flags! Are there really six Six Flags or more? I'm just really curious about that? lol.

i dont know i never really bothered to count the flags lol
i'm here in cali but i'm not sure i imagine that all of the parks are the same kind of like going out for McDonald in another location.. that is a horrible analogy but you get the point

Bleck, there are like 13 Six Flags they all kinda look the same to me, so you're right XD. I wouldn't travel far to see a same/different thing in another state. I'll just stick to my 1 hour drive to KI XD. I can't wait till Halloween though, I might work for KI's Halloween Haunt.

Yeah (I'm excited for summer but I just can't wait until the Haunt/Halloween season), I will have to dress up as a certain character and scare them. There's like a few KI Halloween Haunt/Fear Feast (they keep changing their Halloween Season name so...) videos on YouTube. It gets pretty creepy/scary during that time. But last year (2013 season), I worked for something called Howl-o-Palooza for KI, it's like a little kid version of Haunt. Boy, it was just... Bleck. That's why I want to do Haunt this year instead of Palooza.

Never been to Ohio but I love going to Six Flags New Jersey, which to me seems different than the one in Massachusetts so I guess they aren't all the same. There is also an Amusement park called The Great Escape in upper New York that I like to go to, although technically it is part of the Six Flags chain.

The only good part about being in Ohio is that I'm so close to Cedar Point. It's just an hour drive, which ain't bad for one of the top rated amusement parks in the world. Razz It's the only park I've ever been to, but it's pretty darn fun to go around and ride everything.

The Great Escape is only an hour away from where I live, but since I am at college in pretty much the middle of nowhere there isn't really any amusement parks near me.

So who here loves rollercoasters? Or do you prefer the less thrilling rides?

A good chunk of my family are thrill-ride fanatics so I've been to a lot of parks. Disney World, Disney Land, Cedar Point. Six Flags Great America every year through the late 80s/early 90s. I remember I really liked Epcot when I was a kid.

I don't like roller coasters but I love water rides, so my favorite place would have to be Noah's Ark in Wisconsin Dells.

I love rollercoasters and throughout most of my childhood I would go to six flags great adventure (new jersey) during the summer. It was always a good time.

Another park I like, though I don't go there cause it is so far away, is Bush Gardens in Virginia. Last time I went on vacation I went there and it is a great time.

Omg somebody knows Kings Island, that place was literally my childhood. The Vortex was my first rollercoaster when I was 7 ;u; I'm was a bad Ohioan though I've never been to Cedar Point in the 11-12 years I lived there haha.

Otherwise Bush Gardens, Six Flags in NJ, and Epcot are all great. I absolutely love rollercoasters, the bigger and faster and twistier, the better. The only ones I won't do are the ones with a proper 90 degree drop like Kingda Ka at Six Flags, they never seem to stay operational and if I wanted to just drop I'd go on a drop ride Razz

My sister has been on the Kingda Ka several times but I don't trust it with how many times it breaks down. I love the drop rides as well as any twisting and turning coasters.

I live about 35 minutes away from King's Island, so I've been there quite a few times!

I've also been to Disney World, which is a lot of fun.

But most of the time, I'm not in the mood for amusement parks... When I am, I have to say King's Island.

I get motion sickness very easily, so I have to med up if I want to ride the rides at KI. At first, I get really scared, then afterwards, it all seems kind of lame.
I have yet to ride the Banshee though...
