Lady Unlucky

Me and a friend of mine are developing the next project I'm doing after 20 Galaxies -- maybe. We're starting it off as a comic, but if it does reasonably well we're going to animate it. Whatever happens, there will be an animated trailer for it in the future and maybe a few scenes here or there.

Lady Unlucky is a revision of a 20 Galaxies spinoff comic I started in 2007. The story follows Rowena Avana, an incarnation of the concept of Luck. Rowena has been imprisoned as an ordinary human for a crime she does not remember committing. She will remain powerless until she regains her memory. To do this, she seeks out Marlin Sainlevie, the owner of a massive corporation and the man-made galaxy it controls. He is Evil Incarnate — and her only hope.



We're still trying to determine a number of things about this, tone, length, etc. It is in the science fantasy genre and is definitely more of an adult story than 20G. If this does move onto the animated stage, we are also probably going to look for collaborators.
